Trust & Safety

Choosing care across borders requires clear information about who is responsible for each decision. MedRoute helps organize access and coordination; it is not a hospital, clinic, insurer or medical decision-maker.

What MedRoute does

MedRoute can help organize a patient inquiry, identify candidate access pathways, coordinate authorized communication and clarify administrative next steps. The exact support depends on the case, available institutional channels and any agreed service scope.

What MedRoute does not do

  • MedRoute does not diagnose, prescribe, determine clinical suitability or promise treatment outcomes.
  • A candidate hospital or department is not a recommendation or guarantee of acceptance.
  • An inquiry, estimate or appointment request does not guarantee a confirmed appointment or final price.
  • Visa and entry decisions are made by the responsible government authorities.

How to read access information

Hospital access, language, payment and insurance details can vary by institution and department. Public information should be tied to a source and checked date where available. If a fact is unknown, outdated or only partly confirmed, contact the institution before relying on it. A pilot designation or provider brochure does not by itself confirm access for a particular patient.

Consent and medical information

The case form explains the information requested and asks for authorization before submission. Patient records should be shared with a medical institution only for the requested coordination and with appropriate authorization. Review the policy describing how submitted information and records are handled.

Clear service and hospital charges

Any MedRoute coordination fee should be described separately from hospital consultation, testing, treatment, medication and accommodation charges. Ask for the scope and applicable fees in writing before agreeing to a service.

Patient Financial Transparency

Initial inquiries are free. Paid coordination requires a written quotation and service agreement accepted by the patient. Hospital and clinician charges are separate and are normally paid directly to the provider under its payment arrangements. Any optional third-party costs or additional MedRoute fees must be disclosed and authorized in writing before they are incurred. Cancellation and refund terms should identify completed and unperformed work clearly.

Patients retain control over their medical information and may request and receive copies of hospital invoices, medical reports, diagnostic images and other available treatment records, subject to the institution's release procedures and applicable law. Patients should be able to request hospital documents directly from the medical institution where available. MedRoute does not own clinical records and cannot compel a hospital to release them. MedRoute will not withhold patient medical information solely because a coordination payment is disputed. Sharing records with third parties requires patient authorization where applicable; existing privacy, security and consent practices continue to apply.
