Patient pathway · China medical access
How It Works
MedRoute helps international patients organize an inquiry and understand the next access steps. Hospitals and licensed clinicians decide whether to review a case, what care may be appropriate and whether an appointment is available.
1. Share the request
Submit the patient's current question, contact details and available medical records through the case form. Share only information relevant to the requested coordination and review the consent and privacy information before submitting.
2. Organize the information
The case is organized so the next administrative questions and any missing records can be identified. This step is not a diagnosis or a clinical assessment.
3. Identify candidate access routes
Based on the information available, MedRoute may identify candidate hospitals, departments or official access channels to ask. A candidate is not a clinical ranking, recommendation or confirmation that an institution will accept the case.
4. Request hospital review
Where an appropriate route is available and the patient has authorized the disclosure, relevant information can be shared with the institution for its review. The institution may request more records, decline the inquiry or require an in-person assessment.
5. Coordinate confirmed next steps
If the institution responds and the patient chooses to proceed, MedRoute can help organize access instructions and practical coordination within the agreed scope. Appointments, charges, treatment plans and follow-up are confirmed by the responsible provider.
6. Prepare for travel and follow-up
- Confirm appointment and document instructions with the hospital.
- Check payment, insurance and language arrangements with the responsible providers.
- Confirm entry requirements with the relevant official authority.
- Ask the treating team about records and follow-up before leaving care.
Explore your next step
Share the information you have. A case submission is an inquiry and does not guarantee hospital acceptance, a clinical opinion, an appointment or a price.
MedRoute provides access and coordination support. It does not diagnose conditions or replace licensed medical professionals.
